How are adjustments/write-offs managed?
We only take adjustments from insurance companies that are in direct relation to your contract. Other adjustments will only be made with the physician's approval.
What if a claim is submitted incorrectly?
Our standards dictate that we submit claims correctly upon first submission, however if there is an error, we revise the claim and resubmit it immediately.
How can I be assured that my claims are being sent ethically?
We will always submit claims as they are reported to us via superbill. However, if we discover that the claim can be billed in a way that would result in higher revenue, we would contact the physician for approval.

If necessary we will educate the physician in how to obtain higher revenues for future billings.
What if the insurance company denies a claim?
Many times claims are denied because a relevant piece of information is missing.
If further documentation is needed, Peck's Medical will contact the client for the missing information and resubmit the claim for payment immediately.
How does Peck's Medical receive the information from a client's office?
If the physician is located in Kingman, Peck's Medical provides a courier service. If the physician is out of area we receive information by Internet, fax or Federal Express.
What is the turn around time for our claims to be submitted?
Our typical turn around is two business days after receiving the information.
What is the cost of having Peck's Medical do credentialling?
Peck's Medical charges a flat rate per insurance company contract.

By submitting electronically through a national clearinghouse, Peck's Medical will receive payment for you from insurance companies quickly. Normally within 7-10 business days.
