What is the cost of having Peck's Medical to do our billing?
The cost is based upon a percentage of monthly receivables and the percentage varies from physician to physician based upon normal monthly receivables. Please contact us for a direct quote.

What is the cost of having Peck's Medical to do our collections?
The cost of collections on accounts that we did not do the original billing is based upon a percentage of the amount collected and the date of the original date of service. Collections on accounts that we did do the original billing for is included in the percentage of our billing fee. Please contact us for a direct quote.

What is the cost of having Peck's Medical to do consulting?
We charge a hourly rate for any consulting done in house or via telecommuting. We also negotiate flat rate fees for specific tasks or consulting needed. Travel and related expenses may apply. Please contact us for a direct quote.

How are adjustments/write-offs managed?
We only take adjustments from insurance companies that are in direct relation to your contract. Other adjustments will only be made with the client's permission.

How does Peck's Medical Billing assure faster payment from insurance companies?
By submitting the claim correctly the very first time (98% success rate for first submissions) and by submitting claims electronically through a national clearinghouse allowing you to receive your money much quicker, usually within 7-14 days.

How can I be sure that my claims are being submitted correctly and ethically?
We will always submit claims as they are reported to us via the patient's superbill. However, if we discover that the claim can be billed in a way that would result in higher revenue, specifically corrected coding, we would contact the physician for approval before submitting the claim.

What if the insurance company denies a claim?
Many times claims are denied because a relevant piece of information is missing. If further documentation is required then we will contact the client directly for the necessary information and resubmit the claim immediately.

How does Peck's Medical Billing receive information from a client's office?
If the client is located in the Kingman area or the West Side area of Phoenix then we would provide a courier service. If a client is located outside the area, then information would be received via internet, fax or USPS Priority Service.

What is the turn around time for claims to be submitted?
Our typical turn around time is normally two business days upon receiving the information, however we usually get the claim entered and submitted within 24 hours..
